Discover one of Valais’ most iconic traditions and learn how to prepare and serve raclette like a local. As you enjoy your raclette, you’ll pick up the techniques and little secrets behind preparing and serving this much-loved Valais speciality.
You’ll meet at Nendaz Tourisme at 5:00 pm before travelling together to the Courtenâ farm in Basse-Nendaz, either in your own car or by carpooling with other participants. The activity finishes around 20:00.
Once at the farm, you’ll have the chance to meet the Hérens cows up close and learn a little more about life on the farm. Then it’s time for raclette! In a cosy room right next to the cows, you’ll prepare, serve and enjoy raclette cheese made from their milk, with plenty of tips along the way to help you master the tradition yourself.
